Fraud

Pleading guilty or being found guilty of an offence of fraud does not automatically mean a prison sentence, and at Liberty Law we are experienced in defending these offences.

Fraud falls under a range of allegations including:

  • Money laundering: up to seven years of imprisonment.
    • Misleading social welfare: up to seven years of imprisonment.
    • Bribery: up to seven years of imprisonment.
    • False accounting: up to ten years of imprisonment.
  • Corruption: up to seven years of imprisonment.
  •  Perverting the course of justice: up to seven years of imprisonment.

At Liberty Law we keep up-to-date on law changes relating to these accusations and keep abreast of the latest Court of Appeal decisions, so that we are in an excellent position to give individuals or businesses sound advice in the areas relating to fraud.
